Over $189M in Liquidations Across Global Crypto Markets in 24 Hours

Gate News message, April 24 — Over $189 million in liquidations occurred across global crypto futures markets in the past 24 hours, according to Coinglass data. Long positions accounted for $104 million of liquidations, while short positions saw $85.38 million liquidated.

Bitcoin saw $30.45 million in long liquidations and $18 million in short liquidations. Ethereum experienced $29.29 million in long liquidations and $14.17 million in short liquidations.

A total of 85,173 traders were liquidated during the period. The largest single liquidation event occurred on Hyperliquid’s BTC-USD market, with a position valued at $3.58 million.
