According to official announcement, Base MCP launched today (May 26), enabling users to connect Base accounts to AI interfaces and execute swaps, transfers, portfolio tracking, and participate in Base ecosystem via chat. The service supports Morpho, Moonwell, Aerodrome, Bankr, Avantis, Virtuals, and Uniswap, covering lending, swaps, and perpetual futures. All transactions initiated by AI agents require manual user confirmation. Base MCP uses OAuth 2.1 standard for authentication and does not store or access user private keys.
