According to a government statement from Changshu's Xinzhuang Town on May 23, a warehouse at a consumer products company caught fire at around 6 p.m. that day. Fire and rescue teams and relevant departments responded swiftly, bringing the blaze under control and extinguishing remaining flames. Following comprehensive inspections by multiple departments, no casualties were found. Preliminary assessments confirmed no external environmental pollution occurred. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
