Global Crypto Liquidations Hit $472 Million in 24 Hours, Longs Account for $365M

According to Coinglass data via ChainCatcher, over $472 million in crypto futures positions were liquidated globally in the past 24 hours, with long positions accounting for $365 million and short positions for $107 million. Bitcoin longs saw $104 million liquidated, while Bitcoin shorts experienced $28.78 million in liquidations. Ethereum longs were hit with $68.72 million, while Ethereum shorts saw $28.70 million liquidated. A total of 133,823 traders were liquidated during the period, with the largest single liquidation occurring on Binance's BTCUSDT pair valued at $8.05 million.
