According to Omani news agency, Iran and Oman's foreign ministers emphasized the importance of restoring free and safe navigation during a phone call on Saturday (May 23). The officials discussed recent regional developments, ongoing diplomatic efforts and negotiations, and political pathways to resolve differences between Iran and the U.S. in a balanced and fair manner. Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi also spoke with Qatar's foreign minister the same day regarding peace-building and regional stability efforts, with Qatar expressing full support for comprehensive agreement and crisis resolution attempts.
