Iran Welcomes China's Diplomatic Efforts on May 15 at BRICS Forum

According to Jin10, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi welcomed China’s diplomatic efforts on May 15 during a press conference following the BRICS foreign ministers meeting. Araghchi stated that China-Iran relations are strong and that China has historically supported Iran’s engagement with regional partners. He emphasized that Iran values China’s goodwill and welcomes any efforts by China toward diplomatic resolution of current tensions. China’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson reiterated the same day that Beijing remains committed to ceasefire efforts and peace negotiations, stating that dialogue is the only viable path while military solutions have no future.
