Janus Henderson, a $480 billion asset manager, has partnered with Ethena to invest in governance token ENA and use staked USDe for cash management functions, according to the companies. The partnership extends Janus Henderson's tokenized finance strategy to crypto-native dollar products and synthetic stablecoins. Janus Henderson intends to use staked USDe—Ethena's synthetic dollar product—as part of its liquidity toolkit and has committed to developing regulated investment vehicles, including exchange-traded funds and products, with expected launches in the second half of 2026. The firm is also integrating its JAAA strategy, which invests in AAA-rated collateralized loan obligations, into USDe's reserve portfolio.
