Kelp DAO Attacker Converts Majority of 75,700 ETH to BTC via THORChain

Gate News message, April 23 — The Kelp DAO attacker has converted the majority of 75,700 ETH (approximately $175 million) to Bitcoin through the THORChain protocol, according to on-chain monitoring. The attacker executed a cross-chain swap to convert ETH into BTC.

The transaction generated $800 million in trading volume and $910,000 in platform fees for THORChain.
