Trump stated that U.S. economic pressure and port blockades are forcing Iran to comply, saying, ‘They will stop 100 percent.’ He noted that the U.S. has eliminated Iran’s navy, air force, and leadership, and is maintaining direct contact with Iranian officials without rushing to reach an agreement. Negotiations with Tehran have stalled, though Trump expressed full confidence in Iran’s eventual capitulation.
