According to a China Securities (Citic) research note, on May 15, U.S. 10-year Treasury yields surged above 4.5% and 30-year Treasury yields rose past 5.0%, breaching key psychological thresholds. Meanwhile, long-end interest rates in major developed markets including the UK, Japan, and Germany rose in coordination, putting pressure on global risk assets.
