U.S. Stocks Rise on April 30; HTZ Surges 15% on Uber Partnership, META Falls 8.4%

U.S. major indices rose today as the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.45%, the S&P 500 index increased 0.36%, and the Nasdaq-100 climbed 0.57%.

Hertz (HTZ.O) surged 15% following an announcement of collaboration with Uber on autonomous and human-operated ride-sharing fleets. Meta Platforms (META.O) fell 8.4% after raising capital expenditure guidance and signaling regulatory risks.
