Markets woke up with a clear bid. Bitcoin pushed over $66k early this week, its best print in over a month, while capital rotated back into spot ETFs after a soft June. Five straight sessions of net inflow, close to $727M in aggregate, marked the strongest run since April. Ether flows also turned green, led by large asset managers, adding fuel to a selective rebound.
Behind the move, two forces aligned. Soft June CPI eased fear of a fresh hike, and hope rose that US rules for digital assets could finally gain clarity. Reports from Washington hinted at progress on ethics language tied to a major market structure bill, lifting risk appetite across crypto.
Oil spiked over $85 on renewed US-Iran tension, pushing gold higher and trimming gains in tech stocks, yet Bitcoin held near $65k-$66k, showing firmness as its link with chip shares loosened.
Trader lens now shifts to July 28-29 Fed meeting and big tech earnings. A hold above $66k could open the $68k Fibonacci zone; loss of $64k risks a slide toward $62k. Keep an eye on ETF flows, open interest, and skew for early clues.
