Gate Alpha will officially launch the “Alpha Points System” on July 29, 2025. The more points you accumulate, the greater your priority for participating in TGE subscriptions, Alpha airdrops, and exclusive limited-time events, along with direct redemption of airdrop rewards.

Gate Alpha Points System Launch

To further enhance ecosystem development and improve the user experience for participating in activities, Gate Alpha will officially launch the “Alpha Points System” on July 29, 2025. This system will serve as the primary metric for evaluating user participation in Token Generation Events (TGEs), Alpha airdrops, and other ecosystem benefits.

Definition and Purpose of Points

Definition of Points:

Alpha Points are activity metrics calculated based on users’ activity data on the Gate platform and within the Alpha section, including factors such as asset holdings and trading activity. The total score is the cumulative sum of daily points earned over the most recent 15 days.

Primary Function:

Points determine user eligibility for token airdrops in the Alpha area, TGE subscriptions, and limited-time activities. The higher a user’s points balance, the more opportunities and rewards they can access.

Points Calculation Rules

1. Balance Points

Only the market value (in USD) of assets from listed tokens in the Gate spot market is counted, including assets in both Main and Alpha accounts. Unlisted tokens and tokens not listed in the Alpha section are excluded from the calculation.

2. Trading Volume Points

Only the purchase amounts made in the “Alpha Select” section via the Gate platform are eligible (sales and internal transfers are not included). The calculation logic is as follows:

  • For the first daily buy amount ≥ 2 USDT, 1 point is awarded.
  • After the initial buy, each time the buy amount doubles (e.g., 4 USDT → 8 USDT → 16 USDT, etc.), 1 additional point is earned (e.g., 4 USDT purchase earns 2 points, 8 USDT earns 3 points, and so on).

3. Special Points

During certain promotional periods, trading designated tokens may earn additional bonus points. Details are available in the event announcements.

Time and Snapshot Rules

  • Daily Snapshot Time: 07:59:59 (UTC+8) each day
  • Points Update Time: Points are updated no later than 14:00 (UTC+8) each day
  • Example: If a trade is completed before 07:59:59 on April 23, that trade will count toward April 22’s points. If completed after 08:00:00, it will count toward April 23.

How to Check Points

Currently, Alpha Points are only available on Gate App version 7.14.0 or later:

Method 1: From the App sidebar, tap [Alpha Points]

Method 2: In the Order Panel (top right), tap [Alpha Points]

Method 3: Enter “Alpha Points” in the home page search bar to access the points page

Points Airdrop Reward Mechanism

  • Users can redeem points for airdrop rewards.
  • Users must manually claim rewards within the airdrop period; otherwise, the platform will consider them forfeited.
  • After a successful claim, the platform credits the airdrop to the Alpha account within 1 hour.

Important Notes

1. Historical data was collected for the points system before launch and is available for users to review.

2. Only the main account can participate in points calculation independently; sub-account data is merged into the main account and is not displayed separately.

3. Points are solely for assessing participation eligibility and activity levels; they do not affect asset security or trading rights.

4. Gate Alpha reserves the right to adjust the points rules as needed, and the platform retains final interpretation rights.

5. If you have questions, contact customer support through the Gate App “Help Center” or official community channels.

6. For full details on the points system, please refer to official announcements.

Aster vs Hyperliquid: Which Perp DEX Will Prevail?

Aster and Hyperliquid are the two representative protocols of the "purpose-built L1 path" within the current decentralized perpetual exchange (Perp DEX) sector. As a pioneer in the field, Hyperliquid has built a deep liquidity moat through its highly mature order book architecture and strong community consensus. Conversely, Aster, as a rising challenger, seeks to leapfrog the competition in high-performance trading through more aggressive multi-chain aggregation logic, private transaction modules, and an underlying execution environment optimized for 2026 market demands.

AI-Native Settlement Layers: How United Stables Is Building the Next Financial Rail

Stablecoins were originally designed as dollar substitutes within exchanges, primarily used for asset pricing and trade settlement. As on-chain financial ecosystems have matured, their role has expanded beyond simple payments to include collateral assets, cross-chain liquidity mediums, and unified settlement units. In particular, as AI systems and automated agents begin to participate directly in economic activity, demand has risen sharply for programmable value units capable of instant settlement. This shift is pushing stablecoins toward the role of foundational financial infrastructure.

Aerodrome Tokenomics: How ve(3,3) Powers Base's Most Profitable DEX

AERO is the native token of Aerodrome Finance, a core decentralized exchange and liquidity protocol in the Base ecosystem. It is primarily used for liquidity incentives and ecosystem operations. veAERO is a governance NFT that users receive by locking AERO, representing both voting power and the right to share protocol revenue. Through a dual track structure of AERO as a utility token and veAERO as a governance credential, Aerodrome separates liquidity usage value from long term governance power, allowing participants to act as liquidity providers, governance decision makers, and revenue sharers within the same system.

Hybrid Collateral Stablecoins: Inside United Stables' Stability and Yield Architecture

In the early stages of the crypto market, traditional stablecoins mainly relied on single-reserve or single-collateral models. Their primary focus was price stability and payment convenience, which allowed them to become foundational tools for on-chain trading and capital flows. As the market has entered a more mature financial phase, however, this structure has begun to reveal limitations, including high concentration risk and the difficulty of balancing liquidity with yield. These constraints have driven the evolution toward multi-layer collateral and portfolio-based designs, such as the dual-layer hybrid collateral architecture proposed by United Stables, which seeks to redefine the underlying logic of stable assets.
