Gate has introduced a new Contract Points System to reward contract traders on its platform. Users earn points by trading contracts, participating in balance snapshots, or inviting new users. Accumulated points can be redeemed for Cash Tokens, Position Experience Vouchers, or Contract Trial Funds.

Gate Introduces Futures Points System

Gate’s all-new Futures Points System officially launched on October 14, 2025, at 08:00 UTC. This system is designed to reward futures traders on the platform. Users can redeem points for more standardized rewards, including trial trading vouchers, position trial credits, and futures experience funds. This approach delivers a more engaging and rewarding experience for active participants.

What Are Futures Points?

Futures Points are an exclusive benefits program for futures users. Users can accumulate points through daily trading, holding positions, or inviting new users. Users can redeem points for various rewards on the dedicated points page. All redemption options are displayed on the platform’s official page.

How to Earn Futures Points

Gate calculates users’ futures activity daily and issues points on the following day. Points can be earned from the following sources:

1. Futures Trading Points

Users earn points based on daily trading volume, starting at $400 USDT for 1 point. Higher trading volumes yield more points. Both opening and closing trades count toward the total, and there is no daily limit on points earned.

2. Balance Snapshot Points

The system takes daily snapshots of users’ futures accounts (including spot balances under unified account mode) and awards fixed points based on asset value:

  • $100 ≤ Balance < $1,000: 1 point/day
  • $1,000 ≤ Balance < $10,000: 2 points/day
  • $10,000 ≤ Balance < $100,000: 3 points/day
  • ≥ $100,000: 4 points/day

Note: Assets in financial accounts (e.g., Savings) are excluded from point calculations.

3. Invitation Points

Earn additional points by inviting new users:

  • Invite 1 user: 1 point
  • Invite 2 users: 2 points
  • Invite 3 or more users: 3 points

Invitations are valid if the invitee successfully earns at least 2 points.

How to Use Points

Users can redeem points instantly on the points page for trial trading vouchers, position trial credits, or experience funds. You can use points immediately after they are issued, and they will be deducted from your balance upon redemption. Official rules for redemption are subject to the details shown on the activity page.

Point Validity and Expiration Policy

  • Validity: Points are valid for 15 days from the date of issuance; expired points are automatically void and cannot be restored.
  • Issuance: All points earned during a given day are distributed together on the following day.
  • Deduction Order: Points that expire soonest will be used first.

Example: If a user earns 10 points on October 14, those points must be used within 15 days or they will expire automatically.

Important Notes

  1. Users must trade at least 400 USDT or hold positions over 100 USDT per day to start accumulating points.
  2. Copy trading and bot trading volumes are excluded from point calculations.
  3. Futures Points and Alpha Points are separate reward systems and do not affect each other.
  4. Market makers, enterprise accounts, and institutional users are not eligible for this campaign.
  5. Only platform-approved trading volume is counted; self-trading, wash trading, or abnormal trades are excluded.
  6. Points are a platform benefit only. They are non-transferable, non-tradable, and do not represent cash or token assets.
  7. Gate reserves the right to modify point rules, usage scenarios, and validity periods. Any changes will be announced in advance.

Summary

Gate’s new Futures Points System provides traders with enhanced incentives and flexible redemption options. Users can accumulate points easily through trading volume, balance snapshots, and inviting friends. This maximizes the value of every futures transaction.

Aster vs Hyperliquid: Which Perp DEX Will Prevail?

Aster and Hyperliquid are the two representative protocols of the "purpose-built L1 path" within the current decentralized perpetual exchange (Perp DEX) sector. As a pioneer in the field, Hyperliquid has built a deep liquidity moat through its highly mature order book architecture and strong community consensus. Conversely, Aster, as a rising challenger, seeks to leapfrog the competition in high-performance trading through more aggressive multi-chain aggregation logic, private transaction modules, and an underlying execution environment optimized for 2026 market demands.

AI-Native Settlement Layers: How United Stables Is Building the Next Financial Rail

Stablecoins were originally designed as dollar substitutes within exchanges, primarily used for asset pricing and trade settlement. As on-chain financial ecosystems have matured, their role has expanded beyond simple payments to include collateral assets, cross-chain liquidity mediums, and unified settlement units. In particular, as AI systems and automated agents begin to participate directly in economic activity, demand has risen sharply for programmable value units capable of instant settlement. This shift is pushing stablecoins toward the role of foundational financial infrastructure.

AERO is the native token of Aerodrome Finance, a core decentralized exchange and liquidity protocol in the Base ecosystem. It is primarily used for liquidity incentives and ecosystem operations. veAERO is a governance NFT that users receive by locking AERO, representing both voting power and the right to share protocol revenue. Through a dual track structure of AERO as a utility token and veAERO as a governance credential, Aerodrome separates liquidity usage value from long term governance power, allowing participants to act as liquidity providers, governance decision makers, and revenue sharers within the same system.

Hybrid Collateral Stablecoins: Inside United Stables' Stability and Yield Architecture

In the early stages of the crypto market, traditional stablecoins mainly relied on single-reserve or single-collateral models. Their primary focus was price stability and payment convenience, which allowed them to become foundational tools for on-chain trading and capital flows. As the market has entered a more mature financial phase, however, this structure has begun to reveal limitations, including high concentration risk and the difficulty of balancing liquidity with yield. These constraints have driven the evolution toward multi-layer collateral and portfolio-based designs, such as the dual-layer hybrid collateral architecture proposed by United Stables, which seeks to redefine the underlying logic of stable assets.
