Noticed a major exchange rolled out IOI (Indication of Interest) functionality recently. Pretty interesting move for institutional flow.

Basically lets users privately signal trading intentions before executing - works for both spot markets (buy/sell interest) and lending desks (borrow/lend signals). Could reduce slippage for larger positions while keeping cards close to the chest.

The private signaling aspect reminds me of traditional OTC desks, but now baked into the platform infrastructure. Wondering if this'll become standard across top-tier venues or stay niche for whale activity.
