Polymarket will undergo a V2 exchange upgrade tomorrow, and users and developers need to prepare for system updates in advance.

According to a post from Polymarket developer X, Polymarket will perform the V2 exchange upgrade at 11:00 AM UTC on April 28th (7:00 PM Beijing time tomorrow). This upgrade is expected to cause approximately one hour of system downtime for maintenance.

The core of this Polymarket upgrade is to complete the migration to CLOB V2. During the upgrade, the V1 order book will be cleared, and all unfilled limit orders will be automatically canceled. However, users' funds and positions will remain safe and secure.

For users trading via API, it is necessary to update to the latest SDK version before the upgrade, as the V1 client will stop working after the system switch.

Currently, Polymarket has provided detailed migration and user guides for developers and users respectively. Relevant documentation can be accessed through designated links to ensure a smooth system upgrade transition.

In summary, although Polymarket's upgrade will cause short-term system downtime and order clearing, it will bring a more advanced technical architecture and a better user experience in the long run.

For users trading via API, it is recommended to update the SDK to the latest version in advance to ensure seamless trading after the V2 upgrade.
