To further enhance payment experiences and improve user spending returns, Gate has officially launched the Gate Card Points System. The new system is built around three core capabilities: cashback on spending, points redemption, and tier-based growth. It not only allows users to seamlessly switch between Simple Earn, Gate Pay, or their Spot balance as the funding source for Gate Card payments, but also enables them to continuously earn points through spending, redeem digital assets, and unlock higher-tier benefits as their spending increases, delivering a payment experience of "spend to earn, grow to gain".
After completing eligible purchases with the Gate Card, users will receive reward points at a fixed rate. These points can be redeemed for digital assets such as USDT and GT. The redeemed assets will be credited to the designated account based on the user's selection, making them convenient for subsequent trading, wealth management, or future spending. Meanwhile, points remain valid indefinitely. More redeemable assets and benefits will continue to be introduced in the future, providing users with a richer and more diverse rewards experience.
Building on the points rewards system, Gate Card has introduced a six-tier cashback program ranging from T0 to T5. Each tier offers a different cashback rate, maximum cashback per transaction, and monthly cashback cap. Eligible users can enjoy up to 8% cashback on purchases, with a maximum of 150 USDT per transaction and up to 400 USDT per month. Once users reach the required spending threshold, they will be automatically upgraded to the corresponding tier in the following month and enjoy higher-tier benefits, creating an incentive mechanism that combines spending, tier progression, and rewards. Points are awarded only for eligible purchase transactions. Fiat payments, deposits and withdrawals, fees, and transactions under certain merchant category codes (MCCs) are not eligible for points accumulation. In addition to the points system, Gate Card also offers robust global payment capabilities. The product is available in over 200 countries and regions and accepted at approximately 150 million Visa merchants worldwide, supporting online payments, in-store purchases, and ATM withdrawals, as well as integration with Apple Pay and Google Pay. It also offers industry-leading spending limits, with up to 500,000 USD per transaction and per day, and up to 1,500,000 USD monthly limits. Top-tier users are eligible for unlimited annual limits, further supporting high-frequency consumption, cross-border payments, and large-scale fund usage.
From points-based cashback to tiered growth and global payment capabilities, Gate Card continues to strengthen its payment ecosystem, transforming payments into a channel for continuous value accumulation. Looking ahead, Gate will further deepen the integration between payments and its ecosystem, expand the real-world use cases of digital assets, and accelerate the mainstream adoption of Web3 payments through a more comprehensive product suite and enhanced service capabilities.
