14 Companies Back Both Trump-Aligned and Official U.S. Semiquincentennial Events

According to CNBC analysis, 14 companies have sponsored both America250, the nonprofit supporting the congressionally created U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission, and Freedom 250, the Trump-backed public-private partnership organizing major anniversary events.

The companies include Boeing, Deloitte, John Deere, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Oracle, Palantir, Raytheon Technologies, SAP, Scotts Miracle-Gro, UFC and United Airlines. Many have significant federal business including defense contracts, technology deals, regulatory interests and merger considerations. Freedom 250's sponsorship structure offers tiered benefits ranging from $500,000 to $10 million, with top-tier donors receiving VIP access, photo opportunities with President Trump and private receptions. CNBC found no evidence linking the sponsorships to companies' policy outcomes, but ethics experts noted the structure gives companies with federal business a new avenue to access the president with limited public disclosure.
