ASML and Tata Electronics Sign MOU to Support $11B Wafer Fab in India

On May 16, ASML and Tata Electronics signed a memorandum of understanding to support the construction and capacity ramp-up of Tata Electronics’ 300mm wafer fabrication plant in Dholera, Gujarat. The facility, India’s first 300mm commercial wafer fab, is planned with a total investment of $11 billion and will manufacture semiconductor products for automotive, mobile devices, AI, and other critical applications.
