ASML Points Out Supply Chain Challenge for Musk's Terafab Plan

According to Bloomberg, ASML CEO Christophe Fouquet said on Wednesday (June 17) that the chipmaker must ensure its supply chain and production capacity do not become a limiting factor as Tesla's Elon Musk pushes forward with his large-scale foundry project Terafab. Speaking at VivaTech in Paris, Fouquet noted that while new major projects present growth opportunities, they depend on supply keeping pace with demand. "As long as we're not limited by supply, new projects are opportunities," he said. ASML is the world's only producer of advanced extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography equipment, essential for manufacturing AI training chips.
