Atlanta Fed Raises Q2 GDP Nowcast to 1.7% on July 16

According to Atlanta Fed's GDP Now model, the U.S. second-quarter economic growth estimate was raised to 1.7% on an annualized basis on July 16. This represents a 0.4 percentage-point increase from the previous estimate of 1.3% on July 8. The model also lifted its estimate for real personal consumption expenditure growth from 2.0% to 2.5%, and private investment growth from 5.5% to 6.0%.
