Australia's Court Rejects Inpex's Bid to Halt 400-Worker LNG Strike on Sunday

NG-0.60%

According to Australia's Fair Work Commission (FWC), the court rejected Inpex's request to halt a strike by approximately 400 workers at its Ichthys liquefied natural gas (LNG) project on Sunday.

Inpex had argued that the work stoppage would harm Australia's economy through lost export revenues and could trigger dangerous power outages. The FWC dismissed these claims.
