Baidu's Ex-Autonomous Driving Lead Launches Nüwa Robotics, Raises $7M in Angel Round

According to 36Kr, Nüwa Robotics, a Chinese embodied intelligence startup founded in February 2026, has raised 50 million yuan (approximately $7 million) in an angel round led by Blue Lake Capital, with Butong Capital and Gongqingcheng Puyi Investment also participating. Founder Yang Ruigang previously led Baidu's Autonomous Driving and Robotics Lab and served as CTO at autonomous trucking company Inceptio Technology.
