Bitcoin Falls Below $62.5K as Select Altcoins Like ICP, DOT, ATOM Plunge 96-99.7% From Peaks

According to Bitcoin.com, as of June 7, 2026, Bitcoin trades between $61,500 and $62,500, down more than 50% from its $126,080 all-time high reached on October 6, 2025. Most altcoins have fared far worse: ICP has lost 99.7% from peak, DOT 98.2%, and ATOM 96.2%, making recovery mathematically severe for holders. Conversely, Venice Token (VVV) leads 2026 year-to-date gains at 904.87%, while HYPE has climbed 127.4% and STG advanced 106.01%. However, most other major altcoins remain deeply underwater, with ETH down 67%, SOL down 77.7%, and DOGE down 88.4% from their respective all-time highs.
