Bitcoin's Realized Volatility Falls 56% From March High, Enters Compression Phase

BTC-1.35%

According to on-chain analyst Axel Adler Jr's June 1 report, Bitcoin's one-week realized volatility (30-day average) compressed to 17 from approximately 39 in early March, representing a 56% quarterly decline and approaching historical lows. BTC is currently trading around $73,500, remaining below the 200-day moving average of approximately $79,500.

Meanwhile, the Delta indicator, which reflects market premium changes, has remained negative for six consecutive months and declined further to approximately -0.0013 in May, indicating that Bitcoin's market capitalization growth is lagging behind realized capitalization growth, signaling contracting risk appetite and valuation premium.
