Cboe Launches XSP Binary Options With $100/$0 Payouts on June 23

SPX500-0.86%
On June 23, 2026, Cboe Global Markets announced the launch of Cboe Predicts, a suite of binary options linked to the Mini-S&P 500 Index (XSP). The contracts, listed as XSPBW and XSPBX, are now available through Interactive Brokers and offer fixed $100 or $0 payouts based on whether the index settles at or above a specified level. Traders can take a 'yes' position (collecting $100 if the index settles at or above the strike) or a 'no' position (collecting $100 if it settles below), simplifying S&P 500 exposure with reduced capital requirements. Charles Schwab is preparing to offer access to the contracts in the coming months, with the products cleared through the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) within existing regulatory frameworks for U.S.-listed options.
