CBOT Corn Futures Fall 0.2% on Tuesday as Long Liquidations Pressure Market

CBOT corn futures declined 0.2% on Tuesday, with the benchmark contract trading lower as long holders took profits following Monday's rally. The most actively traded July contract ranged between 472 and 481.75 cents. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, corn planting progress reached 76% as of Sunday, up from 57% the previous week and 6 percentage points above the five-year average. Emergence rates stood at 39%, compared to 23% the prior week.
