Celestia Labs completed the acquisition of Sovereign Labs on July 15, according to an announcement. Sovereign Labs has supported the Celestia ecosystem since 2021 and developed infrastructure used by projects including the cross-chain bridge Relay Protocol and the perpetual futures platform Bullet.

Following the acquisition, Celestia Labs' technical capabilities will extend from Layer 1 to execution and application layers, positioning the company as an end-to-end blockchain development partner for enterprise clients.
