CFETS CNY Sentiment Index Falls to 49 as of July 29 Afternoon

According to CFETS-NEX, the yuan money market sentiment index fell to 49 as of 2:30 p.m. on July 29, down 4 points from 10:15 a.m. Sentiment across large banks, mid-sized banks, and non-bank institutions declined to 48, 50, and 48 respectively.

The index measures liquidity tension on a 0-100 scale, with 50 representing equilibrium and readings above 50 indicating tightened conditions.
