China Agrees to Purchase 200 Boeing Aircraft, Exceeding Company's Initial Target

According to Fox News, China agreed on May 15 to purchase 200 Boeing aircraft along with U.S. soybeans, oil, liquefied natural gas, and other energy products. The 200-aircraft commitment exceeds Boeing’s initial expectation of 150 planes. U.S. Treasury Secretary Bessent told CNBC that China has committed to significantly purchasing American soybeans over the next three years under last year’s Busan agreement.
