China and Philippines Repatriate Four Kidnapping Suspects in Two Operations Between June 19-22

According to the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines, on June 23, China and the Philippines jointly repatriated four suspects involved in kidnapping crimes. On June 19, two suspects engaged in online gambling operations and kidnapping offenses were apprehended and repatriated. On June 22, two additional suspects connected to an October 2023 kidnapping case on Bohol Island were returned, with victims rescued through joint efforts between Chinese and Philippine authorities.
