China-Chile Renminbi Cross-Border Investment Conference Held in Santiago on July 22, Brings 100+ Participants

According to Jin10, a China-Chile Renminbi cross-border investment and financing conference was held on July 22 in Santiago, organized jointly by Bank of China and the China International Payment System. Over 100 officials and delegates from financial, government and business sectors of both nations attended.

Participants agreed that China's continued opening of its financial markets will provide stronger support for high-quality economic and trade cooperation between the two countries. Chinese Ambassador to Chile Niu Qingbao emphasized that deepening financial interconnectivity and expanding renminbi use in bilateral trade and investment represent both a practical choice for risk hedging and a necessary step toward deeper bilateral partnership.
