China's Banks Settle 107,923 Billion Yuan in H1 2026, Up From Year-Ago Period

According to China's State Administration of Foreign Exchange, banks accumulated settlements of 107,923 billion yuan in the first half of 2026. In June alone, banks settled 20,299 billion yuan and sold foreign exchange of 16,437 billion yuan. For the H1 period, cumulative foreign exchange sales reached 89,192 billion yuan.
