According to official statement from China's Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Emergency Management, the two departments have allocated an additional CNY 160 million (approximately USD 22.3 million) in central disaster relief funds today, May 26, to support emergency response and rescue operations in five provinces and regions including Hunan and Chongqing. The funding aims to assist regional authorities in disaster prevention and emergency management efforts.
