Chinese Gold Jewelry Prices Fall Nearly 500 Yuan Per Gram Since Year-Start High, Down Over 28%

According to Guru Club, domestic gold jewelry brands in China have continued to cut their listing prices as of June 25. Several brands' per-gram prices have fallen nearly 500 yuan from their year-start highs, with declines exceeding 28%. Lao Feng Xiang is quoted at 1,215 yuan per gram, down 26 yuan from the previous day. Zhou Sheng Sheng is quoted at 1,221 yuan per gram, down 19 yuan from the previous day. Chow Tai Fook and Luk Fook are quoted at 1,222 yuan and 1,220 yuan per gram respectively, each down 16 yuan from the previous day.
