Chinese Stock Indices Open Lower on May 26; Shanghai Composite Down 0.37%

Early on May 26, Chinese stock indices opened lower. The Shanghai Composite declined 0.37%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell 0.44%, and the ChiNext Index dropped 0.45%, while the Beijing 50 Index decreased slightly by 0.09%.

Among sectors, fiberglass, telecommunications operations, coal, and antimony-related stocks weakened, while advanced packaging, HBM, EDA, forestry, and selective consumer stocks strengthened.
