Coke Prices Post Fourth Round Hike Last Week as Mongolia Coal Import Delays Hit 786 Vehicles Daily

GateNews

According to Jin 10 Futures, last week coke prices posted their fourth round of increases amid government supply assurances, with coke producers reporting improved profitability and low domestic inventory levels. However, Mongolia coal imports faced disruption due to heavy rainfall at the Ganqimaodu border crossing, with daily customs clearance dropping to 786 vehicles. Steel mills maintained iron ore production near 2.4 million tons daily and held relatively low coke inventory, supporting continued restocking demand for raw materials.
