Crypto Market Sees $272M in Liquidations Over 24 Hours, Both Long and Short Positions Hit

Gate News message, April 19 — According to CoinGlass, cryptocurrency markets experienced $272 million in liquidations over the past 24 hours, with long positions accounting for $201 million and short positions $71.04 million.

Ethereum led liquidations with $12.05 million, followed by Bitcoin at $5.34 million. A total of 162,676 traders were liquidated during the period.

The largest single liquidation occurred on an ETHUSDT trading pair at a major CEX, worth $6.43 million.
