Cuba Restores National Power System on July 8 After Three-Day Blackout

According to state media, Cuba's national power system was restored to full supply on July 8 morning, three days after a nationwide blackout on July 6. The Cuban Electric Union confirmed in a statement that all provinces had successfully reconnected to the national grid.

Cuba has faced recurring power crises due to aging electrical infrastructure and fuel import difficulties related to U.S. sanctions.
