According to Yahoo Finance, Cypherpunk Technologies shares fell 37% to $0.59 on Friday (June 4) as investor concern over a Zcash privacy vulnerability impacted the Winklevoss-backed company. The firm holds 314,185 ZEC worth approximately $102 million at purchase cost, which saw its valuation fluctuate as the privacy coin declined 37% to around $329 over the past day, according to CoinGecko. Shielded Labs disclosed that a critical vulnerability went undetected for four years before being discovered via AI-assisted audit; an emergency fix was deployed this week, though the organization stated it could not guarantee the bug had not been exploited.
