Fed Holds Rates Steady in July With 66.3% Probability, CME FedWatch Data Shows

According to CME FedWatch, the Federal Reserve has a 66.3% probability of holding interest rates unchanged in July, while markets price in a 33.7% chance of a 25 basis point rate hike. Looking ahead to September, the probability of unchanged rates falls to 31.0%, with a 51.1% chance of a cumulative 25 basis point increase and an 18.0% probability of a 50 basis point cumulative hike.
