According to CME FedWatch data, the probability that the Federal Reserve will maintain interest rates unchanged on June 17 stands at 99.4%, with only a 0.6% chance of a 25 basis point rate hike. The FOMC will announce its interest rate decision and economic projections at 2:00 UTC on Thursday, followed by a monetary policy press conference by Fed Chair Jerome Powell at 2:30 UTC.
