French PM Lecornu Calls for Israel to End Military Operations in Lebanon

According to French Prime Minister François Lecornu, speaking to the National Assembly today (June 3), Israel should cease its military operations in Lebanon and end its unlawful occupation. Lecornu stated that Israel's continued military action in Lebanon has no legitimate justification and ultimately harms Israel's own security interests. He emphasized that undermining the fragile ceasefire is unacceptable, and stressed that the Lebanon issue has a direct impact on ongoing U.S.-Iran negotiations, noting that reaching a comprehensive solution to end the conflict requires addressing the Lebanon question.
