According to Guru Club, prominent Chinese private equity manager Ge Weidong signaled strong optimism on artificial intelligence development today (July 29), saying in a WeChat post that he believes the AI era is far from over. "This is the pursuit closest to God's path. Who would stop?" Ge stated, adding that anyone halting progress in AI development would face "dimensional reduction attacks" from rivals. Ge previously fueled market speculation with a post in early July hinting at portfolio adjustments, but later clarified he had not reduced exposure to technology leaders. He reiterated his medium to long-term confidence in AI, computing power, and semiconductors amid recent market volatility.
