According to TKMS, the German defense contractor’s order backlog reached 24.2 billion euros (approximately $24.2 billion) as of end-March, marking a historic high and up from 18.7 billion euros at the end of December. The company attributed the surge to strong performance in its submarine and sonar technology divisions, with first-half sales and profits exceeding market expectations.
