HD Hyundai Electric Cuts Target Prices Up to 33% Despite Q2 Beat, Maintains Buy Ratings on July 29

According to South Korean securities firms, HD Hyundai Electric's target prices were downgraded across the board on July 29, despite analysts rating the company's second-quarter results positively. Shinhan Investment & Securities cut its target price from 1.5 million Korean won to 1 million won, a 33.3% reduction, while Samsung Securities lowered its target from 1.53 million won to 1.16 million won, a 24.2% cut. All major brokerages maintained buy ratings, attributing the downgrades to declining valuations across the broader sector.
