IMO Chief Outlines Conditions for 60-Day Ceasefire Deal in Strait of Hormuz

According to International Maritime Organization (IMO) Secretary-General Arsenio Dominguez, recently announced reports indicate a possible 60-day ceasefire agreement between conflicting parties. Should the agreement cover the Strait of Hormuz and IMO receives assurances from relevant countries ensuring safe passage through the waterway, the evacuation framework will be immediately activated and implemented. The IMO's primary objective remains securing the safety of seafarers and enabling their safe departure from conflict zones.
