IMO Suspends Evacuation of Stranded Vessels in Strait of Hormuz After Attack on June 25

According to Xinhua, on June 25, the International Maritime Organization suspended the evacuation of stranded vessels from the Strait of Hormuz after a ship was attacked in the Gulf of Oman. IMO stated the pause is necessary to further verify the effectiveness of existing safety measures.
