India Holds Domestic Jet Fuel Prices Steady at 104,927 Rupees in June Amid Rupee Weakness

GateNews
Indian state-owned refineries held domestic jet fuel prices steady at 104,927 rupees per kiloliter (approximately $1,104.25) for June 1, as airlines sought relief amid currency weakness and geopolitical tensions, according to Jin10. The move comes after aviation turbine fuel prices surged 8.6 percent in April; the government had required stabilization in May. To provide additional support, refineries reduced prices for international flights. The government has also announced measures including parking fee rebates and reduced fuel taxes from major hubs like Delhi and Mumbai to ease pressure on the aviation sector.
