According to Jin10, on May 19, nickel futures on the London Metal Exchange surged 2.6% to $19,050 per ton after reports that Indonesia will reduce nickel production. Approximately 10-15% of high-grade nickel pig iron (NPI) production capacity at Indonesia's Weda Bay Industrial Park will undergo rolling maintenance over the coming months, according to the reports.
